The Aspen Trail, located to the east of the Town of Rivers, was developed in 1999. This 6.4 km (4 mile) long hiking trail has a packed gravel surface, great for walking or biking. This scenic wilderness trail begins at the south-east side of Rivers at the newly developed Millennium Park and winds its way east to the nearby Provincial Park and back. The Aspen Trail is wheelchair accessible. Along the Aspen Trail you will be able to take in the Wetlands Centre of Excellence, wildlife, various forms of nature, and other smiling faces!

From Rivers, you can enter the Aspen Trail either off 4th & Manitoba, or at the Millennium Park!
