Through the years the Riverdale Municipality has seen good and bad times and through it all is a common spirit of community ~ working together for the good of all. This is evident at any of the many events put on by organizations throughout the year. Town, country folk and surrounding communities are enthusiastic to attend and support traditional events such as the MGRA Horse Show, the Rivers Agricultural Society Fair, Homecoming, not to mention oodles of golf tournies and so much more! It takes creativity and tireless energy to develop and sustain community activities for all ages to enjoy and benefit from. Everyone in the Riverdale Municipality takes their turn pitching in and offering something for everyone.

Prairie Crocus Regional Library

The Prairie Crocus Regional Library has a lovely, spacious home in the former Royal Bank building at 137 Main Street. It has approximately 16,000 volumes, videocassettes, and audio books to loan to the public. It has Internet access to search and order inter-library materials.
A History Book committee is meeting currently at the Library to gather information to develop a new history book. Please contact the librarian for further information.
