There is an Ambulance Station located beside the Riverdale Health Centre, staffed with paramedics.
Rivers Medical Clinic (Primary Health Care): 204-328-7941. This is located within the Riverdale Medical centre. We have three (3) Family Physicians and one (1) Nurse Practitioner.
Westwood Lodge is a 12 unit housing facility that is for seniors and is attached to the Riverdale Personal Care Home and the Riverdale Health Centre.
The Riverdale Personal Care Home is a 20-bed facility that offers care for levels 2 – 4 residents. There are many services available for the residents including a hairdressing & foot care for a fee, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, dietary and medical services. An adult Day Program is also offered which keeps residents active and engaged. There are exercise programs, designated outings, bingos, Church services, baking, musical entertainment, celebrations, socializing, crafts and one on one interaction. It is attached to the Riverdale Health Centre.
The Rivers Rehabilitation Unit was opened in 2005 and is part of the Wait Time Reduction Strategy aimed at reducing wait times for patients needing joint replacement or repair surgery. The patients receive daily orthopedic therapy designed specifically for their needs. There are 13 beds within this unit. It is located within the Riverdale Health Centre.
