By utilizing cutting-edge technology, a FoodCycler™  can transform organic waste into a soil amendment right in our own homes. The end product claims to be free from bacteria and weed seeds and food-borne pathogens are eliminated in the process.

Each "cycle" of composting in the FoodCycler™  takes approximately 5 to 9 hours and uses only 0.8 to 1.3 kWh of electricity. Each FoodCycler™ is estimated to divert at least 2 tonnes of food over its expected lifetime. 

The FoodCycler™ uses a carbon filtration system which eliminates odours, leaving the end process completely odourless - no stinky smells while composting, and no more stinky smells in your garbage! 

The FoodCycler™ thrives on a balanced diet and can digest a variety of food scraps including: vegtables, fruit, meat, fish, meat/fish bones, coffee grinds (including filters), beans, seeds, legumes, eggs/eggshells, and shellfish! In small amounts the FoodCycler™ can also grind sauces, dressings, gravies, pork/lamb bones, dairy products, hard pits (avacado, peach etc.), jellies/jams/puddings, and starches! 

Step One
Contact the municipality and commit to a unit. 

Step Two
Purchase your unit. At a subsided rate, you have the option of purchasing an ECO3 (regular $599, municipal rate $200) or ECO5 FoodCycler^TM (regular $799, municipal rate $300)

Step Three 
Track the number of times you have ran a cycle on your FoodCycler^TM  for a 12-week period with a spreadsheet provided to you. Once the 12-weeks has been completed, submit your form back to Food Cycler Science, and the machine is yours to keep forever! 

Step One
Contact the Municipal Office to register and order your FoodCycler^TM. You will need to provide us with your address, contact information, and specify what model you will be ordering. 

Step Two
Once you receive your FoodCycler^TM you will be provided with a tracking sheet that where you will log the amount of cycles you use your FoodCyclerTM for a 12-week period of time. Once complete, the FoodCycler^TM is yours to keep forever!
