Voter Information

General Information 

A person is eligible to have their name added to the Voters List if they are:

1. A Canadian citizen and at least 18 years of age on Election Day (October 28, 2026); and 

2. A resident of the local authority for at least six months prior to election, OR a registered owner of land in the municipality for at least six months prior to Election Day 

To ensure you are on our Voter List and your Information is up to date, please contact the Municipal Office. If you wish to have your information on the voter's list obscured, you may do so by filing an application with the SEO in person, by mail, or by fax. 

Election Day

Election Day is scheduled for October 28, 2026 and is taking place at the Rivers Legion (633-2nd Ave Rivers MB) from 8:00am to 8:00pm. A voter may be asked to produce identification before being given a ballot by the voting official if there are questions about the voter's eligibility.
