Public Notice - Sidewalk Repairs

PUBLIC NOTICE

 

 

Riverdale Municipality will be completing sidewalk repairs in your neighbourhood over the coming weeks. To ensure the work can be completed safely and efficiently, we ask that residents please:

·         Keep off newly repaired sidewalks until they have had sufficient time to cure.

·         Avoid parking vehicles adjacent to the work area while repairs are underway, as equipment and crews will require access.

·         Use caution when walking near construction areas and follow any posted signs or barricades.

Estimated Work Schedule

Columbia Street (East Side) – Between 2nd Avenue & 3rd Avenue
Start Date: Monday, August 10

5th Avenue (North Side) – Between Quebec Street & Columbia Street Start Date: Thursday, August 13

Main Street (West Side) – Between 3rd Avenue & 4th Avenue
Start Date: Monday, August 17

Each site is expected to take approximately two (2) days to complete, followed by an additional two (2) days for the concrete to properly cure before the sidewalk can be used.

All dates and timelines are approximate and are subject to weather conditions and construction progress.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation while these important repairs are completed. Temporary inconvenience will help ensure safe and accessible sidewalks for everyone.
